Professor ZHANG is the Director in Theoretical Physics, Head of Aerodynamics, Metamaterial and Plasmonic Research Group.

The group conducts a wide variety of fundamental and applied research in string theory, quantum physics, aerodynamics, nanoplasmonics, and nanophotonics. We currently have 16 master students and 6 Ph.D. students. Our group has presided over and completed a number of projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the key laboratory projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Management Bureau scientific research backbone projects, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission’s science and technology development plan, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation.
